Stretch, Stretch, STRETCH!

One thing I’ve noticed over the last few months is that not only am I getting a hell of a lot stronger, I’m also starting to get more flexible. I finally got into a flat right leg split with straight legs a week or two ago, I’m getting closer and closer to a flat jade split, and today I decided to see if I could flex my back enough to grab my bottom leg in a right leg hang (inside leg hang, I think some people also call it a scorpio).

I was pleasantly surprised that I could get it and actually pull it down to reach my head. We took a couple of photos, although because it was hard to get my whole body in the photo without getting kicked by someone I had to let go a bit before the pics were taken. When I got off, my right foot was totally numb. Over the next ten minutes it got better but even now, about 7 hours later, I still have pins and needles in the toes on my right foot. Not really sure where they came from. If anyone has any insight, please share it 🙂

Anyhow my first attempt at the bendy back thing. I suppose I’m a bit impressed with myself 🙂
